The Brass Faculty of Illinois Wesleyan University would
like to invite you to attend the third annual IWU Brass Days weekend
scheduled for Saturday, January 17 and Sunday, January 18.
We
will have a number of events during the weekend including auditions for
the IWU School of Music. If you haven’t yet scheduled an audition date,
this would be the perfect day to play for us!
Following the
auditions on Saturday, your day will be full with a visit to an IWU
basketball game to hang out with our pep band, campus tours, IWU Brass Faculty Master Classes, a concert featuring our IllinoisWesleyan Brass Ensembles, a
party sponsored by our music sororities and fraternities and an
overnight experience on campus.
On Sunday we will feature Trumpet Soloist Joey Tartell, in recital and later conducting an All Brass Master Class. We will have you on your way home early enough that you will
